Grandeur Pack Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Planner to join our team in Senai, Johor. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimising our production processes and ensuring the timely delivery of our products to our valued customers. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and scheduling of our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain the production schedule to meet customers delivery schedules and production targets.
  • Act as contact window to customers for delivery schedules, updates and adjustments.
  • Analyse sales forecast and actual purchase order received to determine raw material requirements.
  • Prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) for raw materials based on production needs and submit to the Manager for approval.
  • Coordinate with production teams and warehouse to ensure materials and resources are available on time.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans when necessary to avoid delays.
  • Translate demand forecast into production plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, schedules and inventory levels.
  • Liase with sales and customers service to ensure order status and delivery commitments are met.
  • Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks in the production process.
  • Prepare daily,weekly and monthly production records for management.
  • Support continuos improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  4. Proficient in using production planning and scheduling SQL software
  5. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
