Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities:-

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and manage collection activities.
  • Record and reconcile customer payments against invoices.
  • Prepare AR aging reports and escalate overdue accounts.
  • Support credit control processes and recommend adjustments (subject to Finance Manager approval).

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receiving documents).
  • Schedule and prepare payment runs in line with company policies.
  • Maintain vendor records and resolve payment disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements in AP transactions.

General Finance Support

  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to AR and AP.
  • Provide accurate financial data for reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to strengthen internal controls.
  • Liaise with auditors during financial reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, ACCA is preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AR/AP or general accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates fluent in mandarin is added advantages as role requires candidates to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
