RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Reporting

  • Conduct monthly closing and ensure completeness of all financial transactions for PICORP and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports in compliance with Group policies, Accounting Standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of accurate and fair accounts, including departmental Income Statements, PBA Checklists, monthly schedules, and GL reconciliations.
  • Ensure audited financial statements are prepared with proper disclosures and manage annual/periodic audit processes.
  • Monitor GL and bank balances to ensure no unexplained discrepancies.

2. Group Accounts

  • Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly consolidated accounts and Group MOP.
  • Support timely submission of Group accounts and ensure financial results are true, fair, and reflective of Group performance.

3. Budgeting, Planning & Controlling

  • Manage budgeting and planning processes, including annual business plans and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor adherence to budget levels and report achievements or shortfalls.
  • Control overhead costs and propose cost-saving or efficiency measures.

4. Procurement

  • Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers for Finance-related purchases.
  • Issue Purchase Requisitions and follow up on Purchase Orders, deliveries, and shipment schedules.

5. Taxation

  • Ensure annual tax computations are prepared and submitted in accordance with tax regulations.
  • Liaise with tax agents on all company tax matters.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management or immediate superior.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM6,129.00 per month
