Are you an experienced project leader seeking an exciting contract role in Malaysia? We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee SAP initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery across both functional and technical streams. This position offers the opportunity to drive end-to-end project execution, collaborate with diverse teams, and support strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle SAP projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate activities across functional (SD/MM/FI, etc.) and technical (ABAP/Basis/Integration) teams.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, specification reviews, solution validation, and change management.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, risk logs, and other artifacts.
  • Conduct workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and design validation sessions with business users.
  • Act as the primary liaison among stakeholders, consultants, developers, and external partners.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership and project sponsors.
  • Manage resource planning, task allocation, and team performance monitoring.
  • Ensure efficient issue resolution and escalation processes.
  • Understand SAP SD or ABAP concepts to facilitate discussions between functional and technical teams.
  • Oversee testing cycles (SIT, UAT, regression) and support cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Maintain adherence to governance, compliance, and audit standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 6–12 years of professional experience, with 3–5 years in SAP project management.
  • Proven experience leading SAP projects involving both functional and technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of SAP SD or SAP ABAP to guide discussions and ensure alignment.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules, cross-module integration, and overall system landscape.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are advantageous.
