  1. Oversees and coordinates all digital initiatives and activities across the organization to support digitalization transformation of the site.

2.Responsible for major projects related to Data Automation to equip the site with data that enables data exploration to improve productivity and process control over the process line.

3.Liaison to the BU and Corporate Digitalization and Sustainability Initiatives

4.Lead team to complete OT 4.0 system development, integration, and sustainability

5.OT 4.0 (Data Visibility & Transparency)


•Complete data integration (SAP - MIPS - Machines) along the entire value chain to improve productivity and root cause analysis efficiency.


•Collaborate with SCHOT OT 4.0 team to define the optimize database structure to enable Data-based detection & handling of deviations, KI-based scheduling & control of processes and Smart Manufacturing execution, monitoring, and optimization.

6.OT 4.0 (Data Integrity)


•Cooperates and enforces interactive experience / information exchanges in the context of Smart Manufacturing for production and quality data (e.g. MIP / CAX / MES / further mApps).


•Informs site management, OT Champion about the status and progress of knowledge, processes, and master data.


•Ensures high quality of the master data. Performs regular master data quality checks, ensures corrective actions if needed.


•Prepares and conducts trainings.

  1. OT 4.0 (General Support)


•Analyzes disruptions, creates disruption reports, classifies disruptions, provides immediate elimination support, coordinates measures for reinstating normal business operations.


•Support planning and designing of the OT 4.0 environment/architecture with adherence for central IT/OT product portfolio in alignment with the SCHOTT, BU, and Site OT 4.0 standardization strategy.


•Keeps his/her knowledge up to date by continuous further education regarding general IT/OT development and IT/OT strategies/processes at SCHOTT.


•Cooperates with central and internal teams as well as IT/OT external suppliers / service providers.

8.Digitalization Framework Definition


•Work with IT and OT team (Site / Global) in the aspects of Solution architect design, Data Warehouse layering and Management, establish relevant interface with IT infrastructure and ERP system to ensure operational efficiency and performance sustainability.

9.Project Management


•Support OT 4.0 API roll out in collaboration with SCHOTT OT 4.0 team in the form of project or sub-project.

10.Digitalization Roll Out


•Set up the required organizational structure to support and sustain project roll out with the end in mind of paperless production environment and environmental sustainability.

11.Documentation


•Document and communicate data preparation processes, results, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders or audiences.

12.Data Transformation & Culture


•Work with site management to promote data exploration & visualization to enable automation and productivity improvements.

13 Digitalization shows case.


•Enable 1 digitalization show case for operational excellence sharing per year.

14.Legal Regulations (applicable for Technical Projects)


•Implements the regulations of work and environmental protection systems regarding his/her area of responsibility. Monitors the compliance of legal and internal regulations regarding work safety, accident prevention, environmental protection, and material compliance.
