Putra Business School (PBS) is looking for outstanding individuals to fill in the following positions:

Executive, International Student Affairs

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process Visa Approval Letter (VAL) for new students.
  • Process student passes, student pass renewals, special passes, and dependent passes and submit them to EMGS, then follow up for approval by Malaysian immigration.
  • Submits the visa and student pass applications of incoming international students to EMGS and follows up for approval by Malaysian Immigration.
  • Arranges pick-up services at the airport on the arrival of international students.
  • Conduct the orientation session for the new international students.
  • provides a first point of contact for continuing international students experiencing difficulties or requiring administrative support.
  • Develops and updates SOPs on international student liaison.
  • Creates and updates files for international students.
  • Produces reports on international students.
  • Advises on and participates in international student activities from time to time, whenever necessary.
  • Assists in the preparation and conduct of student registration and university convocation.

REQUIREMENTS

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree.

· At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Knowledge of foreign student immigration regulations

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural abilities.

· Working with various student populations requires cultural sensitivity.

· Capable of managing various priorities, working independently, and collaborating well with coworkers and stakeholders.

· Experience with student information systems, database management, and reporting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
