About the role

Savvy Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and driven intern to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As an Internship Tour Operation, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our travel agency, gaining valuable experience in the Hospitality & Tourism industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the planning and coordination of tour packages and itineraries for our clients
  2. Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure the smooth execution of tour arrangements
  3. Providing excellent customer service to our clients, responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns
  4. Conducting research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, destinations, and travel offerings
  5. Supporting the team in administrative tasks, such as booking and ticket management
  6. Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for improving our operations and services

What we're looking for

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and suppliers effectively
  3. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  4. Familiarity with travel industry software and online booking systems
  5. A passion for the travel industry and a desire to learn and grow within the field
