A well established total logistics player is looking for a Head of Sales (Penang)

Your new company

You will be working as a Head of Sales for a total logistics provider, offering end-to-end supply chain solutions beyond just shipping.

Your new role

  • Lead and manage national sales strategy across Malaysia, with a strong focus on Penang (70% of key clients)
  • Drive performance across multiple sales channels: direct, field, and tele-sales
  • Oversee a team of 10-12 Strategic Account Managers
  • Collaborate with regional HQ to align national account strategy
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with key clients across healthcare, automotive, and semiconductor sectors
  • Implement sales initiatives, monitor KPIs, and ensure alignment with fiscal targets
  • Represent the business in high-stakes client engagements and strategic negotiations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in logistics, express delivery, or freight forwarding
  • Strong background in managing large logistics chains or semiconductor clients
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and driving strategic account growth
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Commercially astute, performance-driven, and culturally adaptable
