Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for executing preventive maintenance activities effectively and in a timely manner to minimize machine downtime. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth manufacturing operations through equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures to enhance quality and reduce cost.
  2. Review, schedule, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve machine issues.
  3. Perform hands-on machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  4. Develop and execute maintenance plans, manage MTBF, and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
  5. Recommend and implement preventive actions to avoid recurring problems.
  6. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper control and documentation.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Automation, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in precision machine maintenance and automation.

  • Experience in the leadframe manufacturing industry is highly desirable and preferred.
  • Strong and effective communication skills with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to provide leadership, direction, and effective problem-solving across departments.
  • Able to work long hours and perform under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce cost.
