The Senior AP Analyst will play a key role in managing accounts payable processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial records within the retail industry. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support the Accounting & Finance department effectively.

Description

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of vendor accounts.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions and statements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Prepare and generate financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities for the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Profile

A successful Senior AP Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial processes.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial regulations in Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
