Accounts Payable Analyst

AP Analyst will assist the AP Team to make sure all invoices are paid on time and ensure vendor statements are up to date.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Code and input food invoices
  • Code and input miscellaneous invoices · Provide back up to AR for any on-charge invoices ·
  • Code and input any invoices for DS&S to DPA & NZ
  • Send all miscellaneous invoices to the Regional State Managers for authorisation
  • Communicate and resolve with vendors in regards to any issues
  • Prepare and generate the food payment run · Prepare and generate the weekly payment run ·
  • Prepare and print cheques & BPAY for the payment run
  • Match invoices to the payment run · Import payments onto Corp On-line
  • Provide assistance to the Accounts Payable Supervisor when required
  • Reconciling all vendor statements that are required.
  • Chase up on all outstanding invoices
  • Make any changes and journal those that are required by the Accountants
  • Provide assistance to the Accounts Payable Manager in all aspects of the Finance Department's work and complete special projects as and when required

Requirements:

  • Very good understanding of Accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, Xlookup, Vlookup, Sumifs fucntion)
  • 1-2 years previous experience in accounting (Accounts Payable)
  • Prior accounting experience within QSR/retail industry is a huge advantage
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great team player
