About the Role

Dufu Industries Sdn. Bhd., a leading manufacturing company in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an experienced Production Planning & Control Manager to join their team. As a full-time strategic role, you will oversee production planning, material management, and control processes to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure timely delivery of products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement production plans, material planning, inventory control, work-in-process tracking, capacity planning, and variance control.
  • Manage production scheduling to ensure timely delivery while minimizing inventory.
  • Observe department performance, provide guidance, and step in when necessary.
  • Lead, train, and support team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Identify improvement opportunities within the department to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and maintain continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to support informed decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree/Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in production control and planning, with team leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations, material handling, and shipping/receiving.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities to guide and develop staff.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
