We are a full stack provider supporting DC buildout to AI server, electric system including HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current), liquid cooling systems, and the provisioning and building the AI Cloud for our customers.
About the Role:
The Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions for SuperX AI Sdn Bhd. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective internal controls, and supports business decision-making through insightful financial analysis and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with MFRS / IFRS and Group accounting policies.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Monitor P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
- Support consolidation and group reporting requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Provide actionable financial insights on performance trends, cost management, and growth opportunities.
- Partner with business units to assess the financial impact of strategic and operational initiatives.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, statutory filings, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain adherence to company policies.
- Oversee compliance with transfer pricing, withholding tax, and other cross-border regulatory requirements.
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to support operational and investment needs.
- Review and approve payments in line with the company's authorization matrix.
- Support foreign exchange management and funding activities.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across finance processes.
- Support ERP/finance system implementation and data integrity initiatives.
- Champion best practices in financial governance and reporting.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team to support business growth.
- Set clear roles, responsibilities, and performance goals for team members.
- Provide mentorship and training to enhance technical and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, procurement, and regional finance teams.
- Serve as a trusted business partner to management, offering strategic financial insights and recommendation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum
8–10 years
of relevant experience, including
at least 3 years in a managerial role
. - Prior experience in the data centre or technology infrastructure industry will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of
Malaysian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
. - Proficient with
ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics, or equivalent)
. - Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
