Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle full sets of accounts for 10+ Group companies (dormant & active), including bookkeeping, GL and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and management commentaries.
  • Assist in Group consolidation, budgets and forecasts, and monitor performance against budget.
  • Prepare corporate tax computations, tax reports, annual tax returns and support transfer pricing documentation.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and support continuous improvement of reporting, closing and accounting processes.
  • Manage invoice processing, payments, collections and key reconciliations (bank, suppliers, customers).
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and bankers on accounting and statutory matters.
  • Assist in management reports and presentations (e.g. Board packs, quarterly result meetings).
  • Support system and process enhancements and perform other ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or recognised professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience; experience with multiple entities / Group accounts is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas) and good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skills in English and other required languages (e.g. Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin), able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
