DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide leadership to the Production Planning team for various products, including management over a team of direct reports.

· Pull, organize, and analyze global customer demand and sales forecast data from a variety of company databases.

· Translate the sales master plan into production, capacity, and factory manning plans.

· Implement and maintain production control/planning strategies by using industry best practices.

· Develop and utilize tools and processes to optimize capacity and cost savings opportunities.

· Develop and measure production control/planning KPIs to meet business objectives.

· Work with key leaders and stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Production) on an ongoing basis to ensure the business/product line meets stated monthly, quarterly, and yearly objectives.

· Track and report performance to plans and resolve deviations from plans.

· Coordinate and implement production transfers across production lines.

· Ensure incoming sales orders are scheduled based on customer requests, factory capability, and committed leadtimes.

· Communicate daily with reps, sales, marketing, and customer service concerning shipment schedules.

· Publish product leadtimes routinely for each product line.

· Meet revenue goals/forecast for product lines.

· Meet On Time Delivery goals and implement action plans when goals are not met.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field

· Minimum 10 years in Production Control/Planning. Leadership experience is preferred.

· Must have experience in Production operations.

· Expert level proficiency in MRP platforms and Microsoft Excel.

· Familiarity with Database Query Tools

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to top Level executives, customers, and internal stakeholders

· Prior experience in electronics manufacturing preferre
