About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Executive to join our dynamic team at GERSIA SUCCESS SDN. BHD. In this full-time position based in Klang, Selangor. You will play a crucial role in supporting our company's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Work Location: Taman Teluk Pulai, Klang

Work Days: Monday to Friday

Work Hours: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

Start Date: Immediate

Transportation and Accommodation: Own

*We only hire local Malaysian.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
  • Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Generating financial reports and analysis to support decision-making
  • Maintaining and updating financial systems and databases
  • Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proficient in using accounting software, such as Bukku (we are using this), SQL or others.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead and guide a small team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
