Responsibilities:

 To carry out functional safety management work such as control, monitor,

enforce, implement, coordinate, maintain and improve Occupational Safety,

Health & Environmental related matters.

 Liaise with regulatory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, DOE, JKKP, BOMBA, MOH, etc.)

to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

 On-site supervision, screening the standard operating procedure, and ensure the

condition of all machines and equipment are safe for operation.

 Inspect, maintain and ensure the firefighting equipment is in function.

 Supervise and review the issue after inspection, find out the solution to eliminate

incident and hazards happen again in future.

 Investigate and analysis of accidents, as well as preparing the incident

Investigation report.

 Organize, prepare and conduct the Safety & Health trainings

 To identify risk assessment; track safety & health performance indicators and

trends and ensure compliance to the rule and regulations.

 Provide safety and security equipment.

 Other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or

related field, or

 A Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health with relevant certification.

 Registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) as a

Safety and Health Officer (SHO) under the Occupational Safety and Health Act

(OSHA) 1994.

 Possession of Niosh Certificate or Green Book certification is preferred.

 First Aid certification is an added advantage.

 In-depth knowledge of Malaysia's Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA

1994), regulations, and other relevant local laws and standards.

 Familiarity with risk assessments, hazard identification, and accident investigation

processes.

 Understanding of workplace safety practices, safety audits, and emergency

response protocols.

Working Experience:

 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial

environment, overseeing the implementation and management of health and

safety systems and procedures.

 Experience in conducting safety training, workplace inspections, and audits to

ensure compliance with safety regulations.

 Proven ability to create and maintain safety records, conduct accident

investigations, and report incidents to management as per regulatory

requirements.

 Demonstrated ability to identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate

safety measures, including safety programs, policies, and emergency

response plans.

 Experience in engaging with external safety regulators and liaising with

various departments to ensure overall safety standards.

Pay: RM4, RM4,500.00 per month
