Job Title : Testing Engineer

Location : Rawang, Selangor

Department : R&D

Reports To : Assistant Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Testing Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and executing comprehensive test methods to ensure new products meet specifications, quality, reliability, and safety standards. This role involves analyzing test results, improving testing methods, and supporting product development and production teams in achieving optimal performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute functional, performance, and reliability tests for new product development.
  • Analyze test data, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for internal teams and customers.
  • Develop new test methods and criteria to meet evolving customer requirements.
  • Conduct bench tests, in-vehicle tests, and road tests.
  • Support product trial runs and provide technical feedback to production and QA teams.
  • Maintain R&D lab equipment, tools, and software libraries.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and ESG standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin (both written & spoken) is required to liaise with stakeholders and partners.
  • Training provided (as per company program).

  • Experience in product testing and quality validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.
