Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Legal Counsel. The role is based in WP, Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some remote work. The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal advice, draft and review contracts, handle legal document preparation, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing legal issues, negotiating contracts, and supporting the organization in maintaining legal integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Law and Legal Advice
  • Experience with Contract Negotiation and managing Legal Issues
  • Skills in Legal Document Preparation and ensuring compliance with legal standards
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in en_US
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent qualification; a Master's degree or certification in corporate law is a plus
  • Experience in the financial services sector will be considered advantageous
