Position Summary:

The Vice President of Dealer Acquisition will play a pivotal role in advancing our business objectives by spearheading the acquisition of dealership partnerships. This strategic leader will be responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive dealer network strategy, driving growth, and establishing lasting relationships within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust strategy for dealer acquisition, aligning with overall organizational goals and market dynamic.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential dealership partners, evaluate market trends, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations with prospective dealerships, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships. Foster strong, enduring relationships with existing and new dealers.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for dealer acquisition, implementing strategies to enhance overall performance and meet targets.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to synchronize dealer acquisition efforts with broader sales and marketing strategies.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to dealerships, ensuring effective representation of our products and services in the market.
  • Oversee the development and management of dealership agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience (8+ years) in dealer acquisition or business development, with a strong preference for expertise in the industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of dealership operations, automotive industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Track record of successfully negotiating and establishing partnerships with dealerships.
  • Exceptional strategic planning skills, with a focus on achieving measurable and impactful results.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
