What would you do?

  • Maintain and enhance revenue reconciliation and treasury placements in order to maximize the income for the organization.
  • Cash management functions include planning, cash flow monitoring, placement of excess funds, monitoring and ensuring higher returns, managing bank accounts, as well as electronic banking
  • Liquidity management to achieve operation and cost efficiency to optimize working capital and no idle funds
  • Monitor trust accounts balances is adequate to cover e-money liabilities and top up on timely manner and funds transaction are clearly segregated from operation funds
  • Source for financing to fund operations & support business growth using the optimal funding instruments, structures and at the lowest cost possible
  • Plan and establish clear strategy in optimizing returns with the right investment portfolio in line with the permitted investment portfolio and risk to optimize the return
  • Maintain positive working relationships and negotiate terms with bankers for facilities, payment gateways, across different payments platforms
  • Ensure accurate accounting of Treasury transactions, timely reconciliation and compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure terminal deposit, terminal rental and reload credit assignment for merchant partner is equivalent to payment received
  • Strategize to reduce tax payable or tax shield on investment of excess funds
  • Strategize and plan to lower funding cost by structured financing options
  • Explore strategic partnerships tie ups with banks, financial institutions, insurance companies and asset management companies
  • Collaborate and work with other BUs and subsidiaries to achieve corporate goals
  • Cash management, placements, investments of idle funds to achieve optimal returns within the approved framework
  • Sourcing and recommending short term financing and long-term funding for Operational and Capital Expenditure at the lowest cost to the company from existing and new banks
  • Ensure Settlement amounts to all SPs are validated via system and transfers are done within stipulated time as per agreement
  • Ensure amounts for Refund Payment is accurate and refunds are to legally authorised beneficiaries before the transfer is effected via CIA, TT or cheque
  • Ensure Accounts Payable is within the prescribed cycle by the company and that all payments are completely supported with documents, approvals and approved budgets
  • Review and upgrade OSOPM over the cashflow in Operation and Trust accounts
  • Review and upgrade OSOPM over Settlements over the e-money funds
  • Recommend investments to optimize the return within the approved framework
  • Review OSOPM and System and Methods that involve Treasury, Settlement, Accounts Payable and Refund Payments
  • Drive/Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Participate or Lead project implementations where required
  • Implement Treasury Management System

Who should join us?

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Banking/Economics/Treasury
  • Masters Degree holder will be an advantage
  • Experience of at least 10 years of working experience in corporate treasury / cash management.
  • Skills/Knowledge should include corporate treasury/ investment/ funding
  • Conversant with structuring borrowings, types of lending/ borrowing and facilities
  • Familiar with investments available in Money Market/Bond
  • Market/Equity Market/Interest Rate investment, risk and return
  • Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of Management; demonstrate ability to lead and coach team members
  • Demonstrate intellectual and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of bond markets, money markets, cash management and settlement
  • Independent and self-motivated team player
  • Data analysis with time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Self-starting, possess a can-do attitude, and the ability to articulate ideas and challenge conventions
  • Possess strong ethics and integrity; can embrace corporate culture and change; committed; have strong team work spirit
