Job Purpose:

The CBO shall be overall responsible for the full spectrum of company’s business and commercial strategy which encompasses products & solution strategy, pre-sales, sales as well as customers management, marketing, branding & communications strategy. The CBO shall drive business directions of the company, be responsible and ensure a strong and sustainable revenue growth, market shares and regional expansion.

Qualification & Requirement:

  • Minimum Degree in the relevant field in IT or Telecommunications field.
  • Minimum 20 years of Sales & Commercial background in the Telecommunication & IT solutions industry, with the last 10-12 years in a senior management role.
  • Must have In-depth knowledge in Telecommunication wholesales & enterprise business, IP Transit, IPLCs, IP VPNs, Data Centre solution and services etc.
  • Strong Sales & Commercial background involving marketing, business development, sales and channel management, commercial contract negotiation, development of pricing strategies and key account management specifically in the Telecommunication & IT industry.
  • Proven track record with a history of growing revenue, sales margins, and market share in domestic and regional setting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, possess strong leadership skills and team building qualities. Ability to lead and manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to be based in Kuching, Sarawak and regular travelling within Malaysia and ASEAN region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and commercial strategies (short and long term) to achieve company’s business growth objectives which includes establishing product specification, solutioning, pricing, and business cases;
  • Provision of market intelligence to support strategic business decisions either to break into new markets or enhance existing market reach.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee Revenue, Customer Acquisition, Market Share both domestically and regionally.
  • Drive and monitor year on year revenue growth across all product lines and geographies whilst championing and driving excellent customer experience.
  • Establish a strong and structured approach to strategic marketing, branding, sales and account management whilst promoting the company's brand and sales pipeline to ensure all opportunities to grow revenue are realized.
  • Drive, develop, and adopt sales & commercial best practices to enhance the company's growth and position within the marketplaces.
  • Provides strong leadership, mentors and coaches an effective sales and marketing team in driving overall revenue, margin and customer growth.
