We are currently recruiting a Site Investigation Remediation Senior Consultant with appropriate background and qualifications to join our Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation (LPMR) team in Malaysia. A career as an ERM Employee is unique.

ROLE PROFILE:

To support the successful delivery of ERM projects and objectives by:

  • Leading delivery of Phase I and Phase II ESA and EBS through the whole project life cycle

  • Supporting delivery of risk assessment, remediation and Decommissioning, Decontamination and Demolition (DDD) as well as asset retirement works

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining proactive health and safety management program at all project sites

  • Managing or coordinating small to medium size projects or elements of larger projects

  • Assisting with preparation or technical and commercial proposal, as well as business development efforts

  • Proactively support continuous development of technical and EHS competency of the LPMR team, as well as wider business;

  • Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery and engagement

  • Building effective working relationships within project team, discipline and business unit and work collaboratively

  • Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements

  • Demonstrate the drive and ambition to learn and grow across a wide range of service areas and regions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Science or Engineering degree) on Civil / Environmental Engineering (or equivalent)

  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in supporting and managing site investigation and risk assessment works in a consultancy environment, including performing field investigation, subsurface clearance, soil / groundwater sampling as well as health and safety management and direct supervision of contractor

  • Experiences in supporting asset retirement or DDD projects

  • Demonstrate great verbal and written communications skills in English, with attention to detail

  • Able to multitask, work collaboratively in team and coach/mentor junior staff

  • Be conversant in Microsoft applications

  • Drafting/AutoCAD and GIS capabilities and experiences (preferred)

  • E xperience/knowledge in Equis Data Management System will be an added advantage
