You will be joining our Finance Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational + Customer Excellence Your Role WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS? You will be responsible for all accounting activities across your area of scope, ensuring completeness, accuracy + timeliness of financials in relation to internal reporting requirements You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:- Your Responsibilities
  • To manage month-end closing activities, ensuring timely + accurate profit + loss reporting.
  • To manage quarterly reporting + tax packages, assisting to eliminate + validate errors.
  • To manage general ledgers for all entities, including performing monthly analytical reviews + balance sheet reconciliation on key accounts.
  • To coordinate statutory audits + tax filing, including preparing clean audited statements for timely submission.
  • To oversee our internal control systems (ICS), ensuring compliance + addressing any findings.
  • To support + implement accounting policies in line with local legislation.
  • To support all ad-hoc projects + implementations relating to reporting + tax, as well as system updates.
  • To assist in optimizing reporting tools, templates + dashboards to enhance transparency + efficiency through digital solutions.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional certifications (ISCA) preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles and data analytics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines and a large degree of independence.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail with proven organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communicator in written, verbal and presentation skills to manage stakeholders across all levels
  • Competent cross-functional management skills to translate issues and influence stakeholders.
  • Your strong analytical skills + knowledge of logistics + finance, along with your people + stakeholder relationships will be the key to your success.
