JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and address potential issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Lubricate, clean, and adjust machinery components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Perform repairs on faulty equipment or systems promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Install new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate installations and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and participate in afterhours oncall rotations.
  • Take corrective actions to address urgent issues and prevent further damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Generate reports on equipment status, repair history, and upcoming maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards, and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to coordinate maintenance efforts and support overall organizational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with management and coworkers regarding maintenance issues and project updates.
  • To perform any other ad hoc duties as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks in various working conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.

Pay:
RM1, RM1,900.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:
