You will be responsible for the accurate recording and processing of all reservations. Maximisation of room sales through pro-active selling techniques. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and its room rates, promotions and facilities.

  • Top priority is to telephone courtesy and service consistent with the standard and procedures of the Hotel Armada PJ.
  • Handle the following forms of reservations, ensuring they are processed immediately: Telephone, correspondence, fax.
  • Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel.
  • Ensure all reservations are processed through the computer system on the very day the reservations are received.
  • Checks thoroughly expected arrivals at least 2 days in advance, ensuring all prepayments (where applicable) have been made.
  • Upselling techniques must be adopted at all times to increase the average room rate.
  • If responsible for group reservations, ensure all rooming lists are entered into computer at least 7 days prior to arrival and prepayments (where applicable) have been received.
  • Adhere to all company credit policies to ensure all revenue expected will be received.
  • Post in all deposits received as per advice from Credit Department.
  • Prepares and distributes all documentation with regards to complimentary rooms, tours, transfers, meal requirements, amenities, etc., to the respective departments.
  • Ensure correct Spelling and reservation details are inputted into the computer, complete with arrival times.
  • Performs other duties related or unrelated to reservations, as requested by the guest or as directed by Management.
