Overview:


As an F&B Inventory and Cost Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels, controlling costs, and supporting the operational efficiency of our cafeteria operation for a bank.

This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset to ensure financial and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Analyze inventory levels to prevent overstock and outages. Coordinate with procurement to order necessary supplies.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and report on food and beverage costs. Ensure all costs are recorded accurately and analyze variances to budget. Implement costsaving initiatives where possible.
  • Recipe Costing: Verify and update costing for all recipes used in the cafeteria. Ensure that all recipe costs are uptodate and reflect current market conditions and internal efficiencies.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Update daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Analyze trends in sales data to identify opportunities for growth or areas of concern. Provide actionable insights to management based on sales analysis.

Spoilage Monitoring:
Keep track of wastage and spoilage, compiling detailed reports that highlight issues and trends. Suggest and implement strategies to minimize loss and improve efficiency.

  • Staff Meals: Manage the provision of staff meals, ensuring they are provided efficiently and costeffectively while maintaining quality and compliance with health regulations.
  • Asset Listing Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate asset listings for both client and companyowned resources. Ensure all assets are properly accounted for, categorized, and updated in the system.
  • Operational Support: Provide support to cafeteria operations as needed, which may include assisting with service during peak times, helping with special events, or covering for absent staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, cost control, or a related field in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work flexibly and willingness to assist in various tasks as required.
