Junior Supply Chain Executive

Job description

Purchasing Task:

  • Research, evaluate potential suppliers and develop new vendors in accordance to company's SOP
  • Source and procure materials or equipment according to project requirements (RFQ).
  • Liaise and build good rapport with suppliers and internal team and other departments (relationship management).
  • Negotiate and coordinate with supplier and crossfunctional department for best possible price purchase and delivery time with the quality required for the project.
  • Generate purchase order and forward to respective suppliers.
  • Expedite and follow up with suppliers for ontime delivery to support production and project.
  • Maintain database update all material requisitions, quotations and purchase orders as per company's SOP
  • Taking responsibility for purchasing of goods during all stages from purchase requisition (PR) until purchase order (PO) closed in the system.
  • Liaise with superior for any improvement to the purchasing process/flow/system to enhance the work efficiency and effectiveness.

Warehouse Task:

  • Coordinate with store to check stock levels as required and place order as needed
  • Prepare custom document and report while doing import from overseas.
  • Inventory stock check every month ,update into system (CMMS and SAP)
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse inventory.
  • Maintain records and documentations concerning inventory, orders, and shipments.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, stock accuracy and stock rotation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education of diploma in any field.
  • Minimum one year of purchasing experience. Previous experience in manufacturing company is an added advantage.
  • Work independently and selfmotivated.
  • Health in physically and mentally.

Salary:
RM1, RM3,676.13 per month
