We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help hunt new business, maintain & grow existing customers in our International Logistics business division.


Work location:
Shah Alam, 1 Jalan Persiaran Jubli Perak, Seksyen 22, Taman Perindustrian Subang, 40300 Shah Alam, Selangor

Responsibilities:

  • To support planning, marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop business primarily international business to Malaysia major/key accounts & Midsize companies
  • Identify and promote Logistics services with targeted customers to ensure positive end result of successful specifications.
  • Prospect for new accounts and seek opportunities to increase saturation of existing ones and increase market share.
  • Be knowledgeable on Air & Sea Freight, customs brokerage & local transport services.
  • Keep up to date with global forwarding and logistics market and competitors' trends.
  • Monitor and track projects with the use of company value added services.
  • Maintain relations with clients by providing support, information and quality service at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Team on development plans and regular follow ups with them

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in logistic business development, freight forwarding sales.
  • Experience hunting and establish new client relationship.
  • Strong communication skill in English & other languages.
  • Selfmotivated, active & aggressive to acquire new clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
  • Good negotiation & problemsolving skills.
  • Good team player, independent & selfmotivated.
  • Willing to be based in Shah Alam office.
  • Possess own transport.

Salary:
RM6, RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- logistic business development, freight forwarding sales: 5 years (preferred)

Language:

  • Mandarin (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
