Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed allocated sales targets by engaging with customers through different channels, determining the specific needs of the prospect, promoting company's freight forwarding service and digital platform to develop and acquire new business opportunities.
  • Handle all customers' enquiries related to onboarding and sales operation process as well as managing customer relationship to deliver customer experience.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
  • Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.
  • Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company for Logistics Business.
  • Generate specific reports as required in alignment with the position.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections for new business submission.
  • Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through value added products.
  • Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company's short and long term results & targets.
  • Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
  • Customer Onboarding Process
  • Act as customer onboarding contact window to introduce and educate company digital platform and services to new customers.
  • Support customer endtoend implementation including resolving customer technical problems or enquiries.
  • Lead the collaboration among internal departments to ensure that each piece of the onboarding journey of customer is smooth.
  • Account Management
  • Own and manage customer relationships from the point of sale through successful implementation.
  • Engaging with customers and creating a positive customer excellent
  • Involve operations matters and create in depth understanding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 10 years' knowledge and experience in international freight forwarding industry.
  • Knowledge in selling Ocean freight / 4PL services.
  • Proven work experience in handling government stakeholder, logistics domain.
  • Familiarity with business and operation's principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
