Position Overview


The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in your assigned customers' base and market segment.

You will lead and manage both strategic and tactical sales activity planning and execution, which includes managing and supporting the sales people under your management to achieve the given sales targets and new customer acquisitions.


Job responsibilities

  • To qualify prospect clients within identified segments and establish contact with them via efficient and effective routes, including social media, coldcalling, trade and commerce events, etc.
  • Identify, approach, and further develop relationships with CxO levels and/or key decision makers, as well as with the IT/Finance/Operations department, to ensure successful client acquisition and retention.
  • Indepth understanding and analysis of needs and the decisionmaking process (DMP).
  • Ability to gather the necessary or accurate information pertaining to client requirements and be able to look for innovative or sustainable solutions to meet these requirements.
  • To formulate strategies for the closure or convert the potential client(s) into Rentwise customers, either through our rental model, solution, or service offerings.
  • Coordinate the necessary services, support, and management resources to ensure that account performance objectives as well as the client's expectations are matched and met.
  • Responsible for creating, tracking, and following up on raised quotations and proposals and demonstrating the ability to drive decisions and approvals to accurately forecast and close orders.
  • Explain and clarify the content of the Master Rental Agreement (MRA) and Maintenance Contract (MC), and seek internal support if need be.
  • Responsible to work with the assigned Sales Executive/Admin in ensuring timely deliveries for client orders and managing client expectations.

Skills Required:

  • Understanding and the ability to articulate the benefits of the Company's solutions.
  • Solid foundation in sales fundamentals such as prospecting, coldcalling, clients' needs assessment, proposal development, identifying risk and close followups to closure.
  • Produce customerspecific proposals and attend customer meetings, conduct presentations to educate prospects on the solutions offered by the company, incorporating as wide a range of the Company's solutions as possible.
  • IT industry knowledge preferably with exposure to rental/lease solutions.

Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Business Administration/Business Management/Computer Science/Marketing or equivalent
  • Effective Business Communication
  • Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills
  • Reading, Analysing and Interpreting Financial Statements _
    (Added Advantage)_

Experience and Traits

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and marketing activities.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in key account management.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales target.
  • Fast/willing learner, willing to travel.
  • Good command in English, both written/spoken.
  • Gogetter, perseverance and entrepreneurialthinking.

Pay:
RM4, RM9,500.00 per month
