Job Summary:

  • A facilities specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical infrastructure and systems of a facility, such as a building and manufacturing facility.
  • To ensure that the facility is operating efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and planning preventative maintenance on facility work.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Able to drive continuous improvement program to improve on safety and facility.
  • Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing facility maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management systems, and building repairs.
  • Manage and support facilityrelated projects and expansions.
  • Responsible for managing the energy consumption of the facility, including monitoring energy use, identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, and implementing energyefficient technologies and practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of facilities activities including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedule.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years above of experience as a facilities specialist/ engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience with AutoCAD

Education:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering

Pay:
From RM4,000.00 per month
