Who are we, and what can we offer?


Vice President - Service Market and Retail is responsible for the entire Dealer/Private Importer network throughout Malaysia, in terms of overall strategy and operations.

This role will also be managing the Service Market team and interface with Volvo Trucks / Volvo Trucks International in Sweden.


Main responsibilities and Activities

  • Overall responsible for leading the Service Market and Retail team in line with strategic position for Malaysia business, towards #1 in Customer Satisfaction and Total Solution provider.
  • Develop volume and profitability of parts and service sales.
  • Improve efficiency and service level of workshops, up to global brand standards.
  • Improve on parts availability and inventory turnaround.
  • Ensure increased competency in the Service Market & Retail organization.
  • Ensure high motivation and satisfaction of employee engagement and developing competence of individuals.
  • Lead and manage the overall Retail performance and profitability.

Your profile

  • Degree or MBA
  • Strong commercial skills and experience in leading Service Market / Retail team.
  • Good understanding of aftersales operations and processes (Way of working)
  • Experience in managing teams and developing competence of individuals.
  • Able to demonstrate clear vision, global mindset and successful people and culture leadership and integration.
  • Proven leadership skills in Dealer and Service Environment
  • Proven business development skills and ability to structure effective processes
  • Customer focus
  • Strategic thinking
