Job Purpose:

Deliver benefit through Regional Category Procurement, appropriate Category Development, optimising supplier relationships and commercial deals for ASL.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Individual Accountabilities

  • Deliver procurement services in across all hotel brands and projects including openings, renovations & conversions
  • Select, certify, and appoint 3rd parties to deliver procurement services in, following the ASL strict code of conduct and supplier handbook. Align with subregional teams for inmarket delivery and long lead items
  • Enable & support clients sustainability objectives in all phases of hotel opening program
  • Support relationship building and interface with the Clients team including development, procurement and owners. Developing the key relationships to ensure a continuation of services and reference sites.
  • Expand the localisation of the program developing key strategic supplier that enable replenishment of key hotels items
  • Work with the central team to source, contract and manage Supplier contracts as required
  • Maintain a deep understanding of key supply markets and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
  • Accountability for regional client & supplier relationship management strategy and outcomes

Skills Required:

  • Deep knowledge of MEA suppliers and customers
  • Hands on Mastery of the Category Planning and Category and contract Management process
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills and ability to lead complex projects globally, including change management
  • Capable of managing internal & external relationships through all levels
  • Good communication skills and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of supply chain terminology.

  • Deliver key programs on time and below target budget
  • Ensure margin is maintained across all categories
  • Deliver on benefit targets and personal targets
  • Implement strategic risk management & sustainability in supply chains
