Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring financial targets are set and monitored effectively.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to drive financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Tax and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in China and Malaysia, managing tax planning and reporting activities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company's operations and financial position.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities to optimize tax strategies and minimize risks.

Funding and Investment:

  • Collaborate with senior management to identify funding needs and develop strategies for raising capital.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and perform financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, partnerships, or investments.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders involved in funding and investment activities.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing appropriate risk management strategies and controls.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Monitor and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a highperforming finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments to support crossfunctional initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in financial management roles within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of industryspecific financial dynamics.
  • Deep knowledge of financial and tax regulations in both China and Malaysia, including transfer pricing, customs, and international taxation.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience in managing funding and investment activities, including debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a finance team.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders from China and Malaysia.

Pay:
From RM35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tanjung Malim: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
