Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives are met.
  • Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and facilities.
  • Oversee the logístical aspects of event setup, including equipment, suppliers requirements, timeline requirement and many more.

Team Management:

  • Lead and motivate a team of event planners and support staff.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring each team member understands their role.
  • Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to foster teamwork and professional development.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor event budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and costeffective solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize spending and maximize profitability.

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain high standards of quality and service delivery across all events.
  • Conduct preevent inspections and checks to address any potential issues or concerns.
  • Solicit feedback from clients and attendees to continuously improve our event offerings.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and hazards associated with event operations.
  • Implement contingency plans and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of participants.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to event management.
6.

Miscellaneous:

  • Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by superiors or management.
  • Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed to ensure the overall success of company initiatives.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and take on new responsibilities as the company evolves and grows.
  • To work closely with Company director on business development and company future plans.
  • To assist company director with hiring, retention and team performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 4 years in event planning and operations management, preferably in the events industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for budgeting and scheduling.

Pay:
RM4, RM6,500.00 per month
