Schedules, executes & monitors hydrocarbon movements and logistics schedules in a cost effective and optimal manner to meet demand, inventory & service levels.


  • Schedules, executes & monitors stocks and replenishment of additives and POME via trucks/barges into owned / JV terminals cost effectively to meet demand, inventory & service levels.
  • Performs supply activities related to oil movements and product quality handling consistent with local requirements as well as Shell HSSE & PQ standards in a cost effective and efficient manner for the assigned areas.
  • Executes the business continuity/contingency plan, responsible for respective incident reporting in assigned areas.
  • Responsible for KPI measurement and delivery of Operational Excellence for the assigned areas:
a) Meet logistics/transport operating budgetsb) Meet demurrage & oil loss targetsc) Meet Customer service levels and minimise stock-outs & PQ incidentsd) Schedule product stocks in line with targets

  • Contributes to maximising Enterprise Integrated Value through:
a) Optimise delivery costs and loading/utilisation of supply chain resources.
b) Monitor stocks and days of supply cover against replenishment schedule.
c) Executes business continuity/contingency plans and conduct simulations when circumstances arise, to ensure optimized delivery costs and avoiding supply disruptions.d) Optimise and operate contracts options, including optimization of volumes and routes

  • Operates third party's hydrocarbon contracts in line with plan. Fulfils monthly nominations. Optimises timing and optionality to maximise value capture within operational feasibility.
  • Works with T&S Channel Optimizer (CO) team and Deal Making (DM) team to resolve conflicts/ manage operational performance.
  • Contributes input for the annual Targets & Resources calculation and analysis for Primary Transport
  • Act as GSAP super user for the T&S community covering SCM096. Effective use of global standard processes & tools including GSAP and HM (Hydrocarbon
  • Management) by timely entry of nominations, month end closings, accruals, requisitions, and upkeep of logistics master data. Accountable to comply with key business control operations procedure which he/she is the control operator. He/she to ensure that evidence controls are in place and kept for assurance reviews.
  • Resolves errors/rejections in a timely fashion and ensure contractual obligations are met. Escalates issues to next level as appropriate. Act as relief scheduler whenever required, to ensure operational coverage at all times.
