Student Record

  • Create, update and file the various forms and documents required by the Student Affairs Department.
  • Ensure student contributions and achievements are kept uptodate in softcopy and hardcopy.
  • Provide support in all events and programmes under the Student Affairs Department.
  • Preparation of awards and/or tokens of appreciation for various student programmes.
  • Oversee and monitor the attendance details of the various programmes and projects organised by the Student Affairs Department.
  • In charge of the sickbay and sick student records

Transportation

  • Handle logistics for field trips and camps including the booking of vans and buses.
  • Assist in students request of using transportation services

Academic Inventory

  • Ensure all classes are fully equipped and ready at the start of a school year.

Uniform

  • Take charge of the uniform and its supplies.
  • Take charge of student's uniform purchase.
  • Assist in school events and functions.

Catering

  • Coordinate with the caterer the best meal packages for students.
  • Take charge of the meal monthly subscriptions
  • Ensure the quality of food produced

Parental Communications

  • Work with the Admissions and Marketing to develop a strategy on communications which will support the School's growth
  • Represent the school during the visitors' tours.
  • Work with Admission and Marketing to implement a comprehensive School Communications Plan
  • Develop the mechanisms by which to produce a monthly Parent Communications Report drawing on feedback from academic support staff, parent hotlines, admissions staff.
  • Measure and evaluate the communication plan and associated activities to improve communications and drive effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Heads of School and the academic support staff regarding parental communication.
  • Develop and lead an effective parental engagement programme which is focused on building positive relationships, supporting the retention of current families and building the reputation of the School.
  • Play a key role in external and internal communications by becoming a spokesperson for the School, accountable for the School's reputation and preempting issues and crisis communication.
  • Lead on strategy and content development to manage parental issues or crises at the School working with the Heads of School or key staff
  • Work with the head of school to tailor the crisis communications protocols and templates for local implementation.
  • Anticipate and advise on potential parental issues
  • Develop plans to attenuate and manage parental issues.
  • Perform any adhoc tasks as delegated by the Line Manager from time to time.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in education, communications, journalism, or public relations
  • At least two to three year's customer service experience
  • Knowledge of video editing, and audio & visual technology will be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and problemsolving skills
  • Excited about modern technologies and eager to learn and improve
  • High levels of professionalism
  • Excellent oral and written English

Pay:
RM1, RM4,481.09 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- in a school's setting: 2 years (preferred)
