The Head of Student Central plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and supportive student experience at the University.

You will oversee a team dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of services for students, encompassing academic support, extracurricular activities, student well-being, and overall student life.

As a strategic leader, you will champion student success by developing innovative programs and initiatives, while ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Student Central team, providing guidance and direction for all staff members.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for Student Central, aligning with the university's vision and mission.
  • Oversee the delivery of core student services, including academic advising, career development, financial aid, student activities, and health and wellness programs.
  • Identify and implement new initiatives to enhance the student experience, promoting student engagement and success.
  • Build strong relationships with academic departments, student organizations, and external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment for students.
  • Manage Student Central budget effectively, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain clear performance metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student services.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, emphasizing responsiveness and professionalism within the Student Central team.
  • Advocate for student needs at the university administration level, ensuring student voices are heard and addressed.
  • Stay informed of current trends and best practices in student affairs to maintain a competitive and innovative approach.
  • Represent Student Central at university events and meetings, acting as a liaison between students and the administration.
  • Any tasks as assigned by the Management or Group Managing Director.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Education, Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within student affairs or a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve student services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student success and a passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with relevant student management systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Pay:
RM5, RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:
