Job Outlook

Oliver Wyman is on the lookout for an outstanding Executive Assistant Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, the EA Manager will lead a group of Executive and Team Assistants providing remote support to our Partners and Principals in the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities include offering EA support to a Partner, engaging in office and firm events, collaborating with other Support Professional functions, and focusing on client impact. This role also presents the opportunity to actively contribute to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment in our unique culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer strategic EA support to OW Partner, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, communicating with clients and support staff, and prioritizing Partner objectives.
  • Maintain and update client information and business activities in CRM system, including proactive client follow-up.
  • Efficiently manage all travel arrangements for optimal time utilization.
  • Assist with scheduling complex projects upon request by the Partner or project team.
  • Act as the main contact for Partner administrative needs, including timesheets and expenses.
  • Handle Partner-related invoices and collaborate with iProcurement support team.
  • Liaise with other support functions to enhance client impact and teamwork.
  • Build strong relationships with client assistants to facilitate project team access.
  • Demonstrate dedication to the team, provide backup as necessary, and lead direct reports for excellent client service and administrative support.
  • Set and achieve performance objectives for individuals and teams, offering coaching and mentorship for career development.
  • Collect feedback for mid-year reviews and lead year-end performance evaluations.
  • Identify training needs and support ongoing development for the team.

Experience Required

  • Minimum five years in administrative or customer service roles.
  • Three to five years of people and team management experience.
  • Experience in financial services, management consultancy, or professional services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, would be advantageous.
