Responsibilities:

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in advising the Management in all aspects of financial matters which include:

  • Ensure timely closing of Management Accounts and Reporting of consolidation figure on monthly basis;
  • Plan and liaise with external auditors on conformity of accounting practices/ procedures as well as for timely completion of yearend statutory audit for the Group;
  • Ensuring effective and accurate financial reporting, management and analysis on Group Accounts, highlight and advise management on matters with significant financial impact on the company's performance and be able to propose remedial action plans;
  • Prepare the group budget on quarterly basis;
  • Prepare the group consolidated audited accounts;
  • Educating and assisting Business Unit Heads to understand financial resource management as a tool for business success;
  • Driving the annual Group Financial Budgets and ensure accuracy of financial projections;
  • Introducing and implementing best practices in systems, processes and procedures to ensure that the Group achieves financial operational excellence and optimizes the returns on financial resources;
  • Promoting a proactive role of finance as a business partner to the management, integrating and valueadding the finance function more effectively with operations and to support requirements of top management with regards to financial matters;
  • Leading, inspiring and engaging the Finance team in the execution of the Group Finance and Accounts' strategies.
  • Familiar with interco transaction.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification from recognised accountancy body and a member of MIA;
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a managerial role and exposure in regional market.
  • Sound technical knowledge on Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Must have handson experience in the preparation of Annual Group Consolidation of Accounts;
  • Resultsoriented and resourceful;
  • Possess analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff within the organisation;
  • Proficient in using MS Excel at advanced level.

Salary:
Up to RM14,000.00 per month
