Execute a risk-based internal audit plan, considering key financial, operational, and compliance risks.

  • Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends and anomalies that may indicate control deficiencies or irregularities.
  • Conduct audits of operational processes to assess effectiveness and compliance with policies and procedures, relevant laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and identify areas of weakness or potential risk.
  • Document audit findings and supporting evidences, discuss with management for corrective actions.
  • Prepare internal audit report timely, monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and agreed action plans and follow up with on remediation efforts.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in audit processes.
  • Work with functional teams to enhance internal control, risk and governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct special audit as assigned, including process improvement and loss prevention activities.
  • Support the organization in understanding and managing risks and controls.

; Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, admin, IT or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certificate in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and relevant certification in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) etc.
  • 1 to 2 years' experience on related field in internal auditing, external audit, risk, and compliance functions.
  • Top ten accounting and consulting firm experience is an added advantage.
  • Members of the Institute of Internal Audit / Risk Management will be appreciated.
  • Graduate with excellent results who determine to be a professional internal auditor will be considered.
