Responsibilities:

What you will do:

  • Develop integrated communications campaigns for the South East Asia region.
  • Develop overarching company storylines for media.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the news and provide creative ideas to gain media coverage.
  • Manage a team of direct reports and agencies to scale integrated communications programs and ensure their results contribute to the PR communications strategy are in line with overall company objectives and goals.
  • Hire and manage agencies across various SEA regions.
  • Conduct media training for spokespeople as needed.
  • Strategically lead crisis communications efforts as needed.
  • Responsible for developing PR Communications activities, OKRs, and reporting on results.
  • Develop and execute a strategic communication plan to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with media contacts, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure media coverage and maximize brand exposure
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking highlevel placements in print, broadcast and online media
  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Monitor media coverage and social media conversations to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and develop appropriate responses.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide communication support for various initiatives, such as launches, corporate announcements, and crisis management.

Qualifications:

What we expect from you:

  • 3+ years experience in public relations and/or communications.
  • Experience developing and executing crossfunctional communications programs.
  • Experience with crisis communications
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers and a team of direct reports to drive results.
  • A natural storyteller with excellent writing skills.
  • Outstanding verbal communications skills.
  • Highly organised, detailoriented and able to drive crossfunctional deadlines consistently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines
  • Have good connection with regional media
