About the job


Responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the designated area of responsibility of Alfa Laval Products and Services in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets.


Responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services within a defined area of responsibility.


Key tasks:

  • Define the business strategy and plan for assigned area of responsibility according to Division Strategy, plan and targets.
  • Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to get the customer Loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars.
  • Forecasts Sales and budget and monitor progress against objectives and financial targets to identify problem areas to improve the performance.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Runs the commercial operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools. Build and maintain a sufficient network at customers.
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales and business development in order to optimize the sales efficiency of the team.
  • Lead the Field Sales Engineer team giving the direction and ensuring that they are performing according with the plan and the sales process, with the special focus on lead to opportunity and opportunity to quote subprocess.
What you know?

  • Bachelor degree from recognized university, engineering related field (chemicals, mechanicals or other related field).
  • Minimum 5 solid years of experience in sales / services sales / after sales preferably in the Process, and/or HVAC industry and 3 years in managerial level.
  • Has developed impactful strategies in accordance with the business vision, with good market knowledge and networking. Demonstrated track record of overachievement consistently.
  • Has worked in company with international setting, and has established success within a matrix organization.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Seek to understand the key stakeholders' business challenges and working it through collaboration.
  • Proficient in English language, both spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel intensively to generate leads and grow business.
