Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Conducting reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
- Assisting in the processing of invoices and payments
- Handling general bookkeeping duties
- Providing support during audits and tax filing processes
- Assisting with other ad hoc financial and admin tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using SQL accounting software is an added advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Good understanding of basic financial analysis and reporting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office software
