OVERVIEW:

A data entry officer collects and enters data in databases, maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. This individual understands data confidentiality principles, is computer savvy, and an adept typist with a keen eye for detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


As a data entry officer with PST Travel Services, you will play an integral role in updating, maintaining and transferring information in and between databases and systems.

This role will prompt your meticulous nature in collecting and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information.

  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare data for data entries
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct and incompatibilities if possible and check output
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
  • Scan documents and print files, when required
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Comply with provided timelines for reports and submission deadlines
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is readily available
  • To undertake any adhoc assignments as and when required

Salary:
RM2, RM2,900.00 per month
