Who are we?

Yinson GreenTech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yinson Holdings Berhad, a public limited liability company, incorporated and domiciled in Malaysia, and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

YGT is a green technologies solutions provider delivering clean, integrated and technology-enhanced ecosystems and services across the marine, mobility and infrastructure segments.

YGT's strategic investments currently include an advanced hydrofoil system for electric vessels, e-bikes with swappable batteries, autonomous technology for electric vehicles and vessels, marine energy storage solutions and electric vehicle charging.

YGT currently has five main brands: MarinEV, ChargEV, DrivEV, RydeEV and DigitalEV.

  • Providing legal guidance on a wide range of legal and commercial matters such as contracts, corporate, regulatory compliance, litigation, intellectual property and corporate governance.
  • Overseeing the operation of the legal department.
  • Conducting legal training for staff.
  • Identifying and mitigating legal risks.
  • Developing and implementing legal procedures and policies to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws.
  • Drafting, negotiating and vetting contracts, legal documents and agreements.
  • Conducting legal research to ensure their organisation is up-to-date with the latest legal changes.
  • Representing the company in legal proceedings, working with outside counsel when required.
  • Ensuring all members of the legal team work efficiently
  • Provide legal advice to the business and its leaders
  • Advising on the legal implications of company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all contracts, legal documents and templates are up-to-date and compliant with statutory laws
  • Reporting on legal activities, risks and litigation

Education and Experience:

  • PQE of above 12 years
  • Law degree from a good and reputable university, preferably a common law jurisdiction
  • Called to the bar or admitted to a professional body
  • Active practice in a law firm for no less than 5 years
