Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head of Finance to lead and manage our financial recordkeeping processes. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial records, from accounting transactions to financial reporting packages. You will play a key role in maintaining strong internal controls, supporting external audits, and providing vital financial information to stakeholders.

Description
Lead and manage the accounting team, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high-quality performance.Develop and implement processes for recording and reporting financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS).Oversee the closing process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial statements.Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts.Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and consistent recording of all financial activity.Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper classification and coding of transactions.Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate financial records.Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and potential risks.Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc analyses for management and other stakeholders.Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity.Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).Minimum 5+ years of experience in a record to report or accounting role.Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of managing teams and projects.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP or IFRS).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP system, general ledger software).Familiarity with internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) is a plus.Job Offer
