Job Description
- Directly report to the Executive Chairman to oversee and lead core financial reporting functions, including financial & management reporting, financial planning and budgetary control, treasury, funding, tax management, policy development, and financial-related legal work;
- Supervise and engage in feasibility studies and due diligence on potential investments, organizational budgets, determining cost-effectiveness of respective manufacturing plants and their execution, to provide advice on the investment impact on the group's cash and profit position;
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks, audit firms, and regulators;
- Ensure the implementation of internal controls and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit, and tax reporting/requirements;
- Implement and execute risk management practices for creating economic value by using financial instruments to manage risk exposure, especially credit risk and market risk;
- Responsible for sourcing funding, evaluating and applying for financing and loan instruments;
- Supervise the Company's cash flow projections, manage payment and collection schedules to optimize the cash management system;
- Lead periodic budget reviews with the team to assess the reasonableness of financial results;
- Develop tools and systems to provide essential financial and operational information to Management, offering recommendations on both strategic and operational decisions to strategically enhance financial performance and identify business opportunities;
- Perform any other ad-hoc functions assigned by Management.
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related professional qualification. Those with a Master's Degree will have an added advantage;
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar field;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Candidates with experience in financial controller/management roles will have an added advantage;
- Experienced in collaborating with bankers on funding requirements and project accounting;
- Solid commercial awareness and business acumen;
- Candidates with a good understanding of manufacturing financial operations will have an added advantage;
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of motivating and developing others;
- Visionary, proactive, and willing to take calculated risks for dynamic business growth;
- Detail-oriented, alert, capable of identifying business growth, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvement alternatives;
- Strong knowledge of the latest accounting standards;
- Robust reporting and organizational skills.
Job Offer
