Our client is one of the largest Malaysian semiconductor companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, with total built-up production floor space of 1,800,000 square feet across Malaysia, Philippines and China.


Job Responsibilities:

a) In-charge and lead full spectrum of finance and related affairs of China Project (Business Unit) to deliver timely, efficient, and effective output.

Be responsible for full spectrum of finance, accounting, taxation, costing, audit, operation finance, Procurement, IT, HR Management, Administration, company secretarial matters, legal & compliance matters, corporate governance, internal control system & risk management, Statutory and local authorities regulations compliances and other related activities of the Business Unit on day-to-day basis.

Drive proactively to achieve and complete target and company objective.

b) Responsible for treasury, banking matters, cashflow management and projection include tracking cashflow and financial planning as well as analysing the Business Units financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.

c) Manage and accountable to the full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting, budget control and variance analysis on timey basis.

Responsible of entire Business Unit finance and accounting day to day operations, fixed asset management, payroll, treasury, detailed cost control and analysis, managing the capital expenditure and asset redeployment activities to optimize resources utilisation.

d) Work hand-in-hand with the CEO and support the EXCO in driving operational excellence in meeting operation performance targets. This includes but not limited to formulate new product pricing and costing, review current product costing and cost reduction, thorough cost analysis on all cost elements includes production cost and overhead efficiency, resources/manpower cost analysis, cost control management, inventory management, procurement verification and analysis, as well as identify

improvement measures and drive implementation, drive for performance KPI of the Business Unit. e) Drive and work with internal cross-functional team members to meet the Business Unit KPI.f) Responsible for taxation matters and compliances. Explore tax planning and tax incentives available by the government.

g) Corporate exercise includes IPO proposal Prepare finance feasibility study, number crunching on corporate exercise proposal, evaluate and assess viability and formulate working paper.


h) Drive, develop and implement accounting and finance operating policies and procedures (SOP), finance operations processes, internal control system, policies and procedures implementation and risk management include automation to improve the overall finance operation and effectiveness of the Business Unit.

i) Drive, develop, enhance, and work together with IT and other Department to improve automation on systems and procedures and reporting.

j) Handle external and internal audit gap analysis and drive for gap closing.

k) Responsible for timely submission of financial report and analysis for Corporate Group reporting/Board meeting/Shareholders meeting.

l) Ensure strict compliance with accounting standard, tax regulations, legislative requirements, and policies.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other statutory authorities to ensure audit, tax and all regulatory requirements are compiled at all times.

m) To take on other duties and responsibilities and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
